Summit Air Cargo is pleased to announce the addition of Colville Lake to the communities in the Sahtu Region that we provide directly to consumer air freight services. Summit Air will also be increasing the frequency of flights into the Sahtu region to three times weekly.
Summit Air Cargo will provide air freight services twice a week from its base in Yellowknife to four communities in the region – Norman Wells, Fort Good Hope, Deline, Tulita, and Colville Lake. The air freight services to these communities will be supplemented by a road freight service to and from Edmonton. From Yellowknife, Summit Air Cargo customers will be able to ship intercity packages with options allowing for same-day delivery within these routes.
Summit Air Cargo operates four dedicated ATR-72 cargo aircraft, with one of these aircraft configured with a large cargo door. With our dedicated fleet of cargo aircraft and options of configurations, we are able to meet your requirements and ensure you are getting the proper aircraft for your needs.
